I edited the project text for Amsterdam architecture office B2 Architects. This description concerns B2A's shortlisted Europan 14 entry. The full compilation gives a detailed overview of the winning submissions to Europan 14, a biannual international architectural design competition. The central concepts, strategies, and aims of these and other noteworthy projects are examined, as well as the ability of European cities to create workplaces for multiplying and increasingly diverse populations.

...The block itself is flexible; in some places, it opens up to create a strong connection to the vibrant life of the street, and at others, it offers enclosure. This way, the building volume draws a clear line between public and private space, while also accommodating interior courtyards with special atmospheres, providing a rich and additional layer of urban qualities chain-linked in a sequence of semi-interior outdoor 'rooms.'
