background

The Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs commissioned WORTH Internet Systems to build a staff member registration portal to save their employees considerable time in processing paperwork, and to ensure the safe processing of information.

challenge

Historically, the entire registration process for foreign nationals working in the Netherlands had been paper-based. The new online system was made clear and easy so staff members would adopt it.

solution

The manual provides a clear overview of the process of registering a foreign national in Plain English, and with visual prompts to clarify steps.

how I helped

Alongside WORTH tester, Ramon de Silva, I created a manual to accompany the application. Based on this, I created a training session and taught ministry staff how to use the application over a series of workshop sessions.
